Nissan Patrol GU CRD ZD30 2007-2016
Nissan Patrol CRD ZD30s are a trusty stead. However they do require maintenance like any vehicle of their age. This list is a great starting point if you have just purchased your Patrol or if you haven't shown any love to your Patrol lately, as these jobs are cheap and quick to perform.
Filters $
The CRD ZD30 like all vehicles requires regular oil changes. This should be done every 5,000km for optimal running performance and reliability. If you are not sure when the air and fuel filter were last replaced now is also a good time to do so.

Glow Plugs $
Does your Patrol have a slow start time? This can generally be fixed by replacing the GU ZD30 CRD glow plugs. A key giveaway is if the vehicle is also puffing white or black smoke. Replacing the glow plugs will restore the patrols start time and fuel efficiency.

Drive Belt Tensioner $
The drive belt tensioner is one of the most common parts to fail on the CRD ZD30 Nissan Patrols. They are known to give out, and when they do they make a horrible sound. You will surely know when it has let go. Luckily it is a cheap and easy component to fix.

MAF & Inlet Manifold $
Grab a can of Mass Air Flow Sensor (MAF) cleaner as these are known to get dirty and make the engine run rough. If the sensor is damaged or has issues, please contact us for a quote. Another quick job is to remove the inlet manifold and give it a good clean.
